Cold forging of processed parts

Mass production of small parts and significant cost reduction through changes in manufacturing methods.

Changes from chamfering to radiusing, relaxation of tolerances, and other modifications will require various conditions. However, if the current product is manufactured through cutting processes, there is a possibility of significant cost reduction. Special shapes such as flanges in the middle of parts or at the tips can also be formed during the forging process. We can also accommodate mass production of small-diameter parts. If you have any concerns regarding cost reduction or the formation of special shapes, please contact us.

Cold forging process

A machining method that is widely used for mass-produced screws! It has a fast processing speed and minimal material waste.

We would like to introduce our "Cold Forging Process." Cold forging is a process where coil-shaped materials are continuously subjected to a certain amount of force at room temperature, without heating, using headers (head forming machines) and other cold forging machinery to shape them through plastic deformation. Plastic deformation refers to the processing method that utilizes the property of metal materials that, when bent, stretched, or hammered with a certain amount of force, do not return to their original shape (plastic deformation). 【Features】 - Since the material is processed as is, there is less material loss compared to cutting processes. - The processing speed is fast, and compared to hot forging and warm processing, there is less distortion due to heat. - The shaping is done using molds such as dies and punches made from materials like cemented carbide. - High processing accuracy allows for the production of uniform products in a short time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Cold forging processing [Of course, we can also handle copper processing in addition to iron processing!]

A processing method that is widely used for mass-produced items like screws and pipes! It contributes to cost reduction due to its fast processing speed and minimal material loss!

We would like to introduce our "Cold Forging Process" that we offer. Cold forging refers to the process of continuously applying a certain amount of force at room temperature to coil-shaped materials without heating, using a header (head forming machine) and other cold forging machinery, to shape them through plastic deformation. Plastic deformation is a processing method that utilizes the property of metal materials that, when bent, stretched, or hammered with a certain amount of force, they do not return to their original shape (plastic deformation). Due to the differences in the properties of the materials, fine adjustments to the molds are generally required, making "copper cold forging," which is typically difficult to handle, possible with our company's unique know-how. 【Features】 ■ Since the material is processed as is, there is less material loss compared to cutting processes. ■ The processing speed is fast, and compared to hot forging and warm processing, there is less distortion due to heat. ■ Shaping is done using molds such as dies and punches made from materials like carbide. ■ High processing accuracy allows for the production of uniformly precise products in a short time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Cold forging process

Technology that enables high-intensity processing without waste supports the industry! It allows for continuous production and excels in productivity.

At our Miyagi factory, we conduct "cold forging processing." Since continuous production is possible at room temperature, it boasts excellent productivity. The process is fundamentally based on applying pressure to deform materials, resulting in high strength. There is no metal scrap generated, which significantly reduces material loss. This method also greatly decreases industrial waste, contributing to environmental conservation. 【Features】 ■ Excellent productivity due to the ability to continuously produce at room temperature ■ High strength as it is fundamentally based on applying pressure to deform materials ■ Significant reduction in material loss as there is no metal scrap generated ■ High contribution to environmental conservation by greatly reducing industrial waste *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
